PPW 2011 was 12 miles long, and contrary to the poor weather forecast it was a day of beautiful sunshine for the walkers. The pubs were outstanding again, with all of them offering free food, barbecues, or food at a cheaper rate for the walkers.
Leading up to the event, PPW teamed up with Moorhouses brewery again, and the real-ale specialists made a special brew which was served in 8 out of 9 pubs on the day. There was a competition to name the beer again which was won by Norman Cope with the magical name "Spellbinder".
There was a raffle dring the event, where 16 people won a free trip around Moorhouses new facility. Then after the event, the engraved tankard and the Keith Melling artwork were won by Mathew Cole for raising the most sponsorship. He single-handedly raised over a mind-boggling £1800!
