The publicans are really pulling out all the stops to tempt walkers in during PPW 2012 - on offer are bacon butties, barbecues, pie & peas, and one pub is putting on a hog roast

All these offers will be available for registered walkers on Saturday June 16th (2012) for the fourth annual Pendle Pub Walk.

PPW Grahame, organising the event for the Rotary Club of Burnley Pendleside, says: "Join us for a 12-mile circular walk through stunning local scenery, support local businesses and raise funds for a local charity, Pendleside Hospice.

"The route is new again this year and takes in some of the more off-the-beaten-track Pendle beauty spots. The starting and finishing point is The Sparrowhawk, Fence, and nine pubs are involved, including two new to the walk this year.

"Walkers can register on our new and improved website, or can pick up a registration form from Pendleside Hospice if they would prefer to register offline."
