PPW organisers have announced a new main sponsor for the 2010 walk - Burnley based Moorhouses Brewery

Due to workload pressures, the previous sponsor had been unable to fulfil all the commitments required, leaving the event organisers with a dilemma. However, at this point local favourites Moorhouses stepped in to save the day!

The real ale specialists have agreed to blend a special beer that will be available at most of the hostelries that the walk is scheduled to call at.

David Grant, the Managing Director of Moorhouses Brewery said: "We are delighted to be sponsors of the Pendle Pub Walk - it’s a superb local event that’s really worthy of our support. We’ve donated beer to the event so walkers who enjoy a tipple en route will be supporting the charities."

PPW Grahame, one of the organisers of the walk, said: "We’re delighted that Moorhouses have stepped in to support Pendle Pub Walk - not only will their efforts be contributing to two very worthy charities, they’ll also be quenching the thirst of walkers on the day."
