First of all - on behalf of The Rotary Club of Burnley Pendleside - can I say a huge thank you to all who participated in the PPW 2010

I appreciate we had two extremes with the weather. Lovely sunshine and monsoon rain - but despite the rain everyone appeared to have a great time. The pubs and the route were fantastic and many new friendships were made.

The best news of all is that so far to date, we have received over £5000 to share between Prostate Cancer UK and Derian House, the children's hospice.

A fantastic result - Thank you to all involved.

Those walkers out there who have not already sent in their sponsorship monies and forms, please get them back to us by 31st August, so that we can present the monies to these two very deserving charities.

We are already planning Pendle Pub Walk 2011. Check back here for the details in due course.
