PPW organisers are today publishing the routes for Pendle Pub Walk 2013 - and also - we're are delighted to welcome back The George And Dragon to Pendle Pub Walk

The George And Dragon (Barrowford) has just reopened - at the start of May 2013 - and is ready for this year's registered walkers. PPW Paul (the admin-monkey) said...

"Everyone at PPW is really happy that The George has reopened in Barrowford. The new Landlord, Chris, has done a fantastic job of refurbishing it too. Everything looks new and shiny. Even the pool table, which I'm looking forward to trying out.

"Like all the pubs on Pendle Pub Walk 2013, The George And Dragon has a great range of real-ales. And now with the routes in place, we can see that we have up to twelve pubs for registered walkers to enjoy this year. That's if you count the bar in The Bombay Lounge... And if you count The Sparrowhawk (our start/finsih point) twice... And if you don't do the shorter route.

"Check out the Iron Man style video. That explains it all best. And registered walkers will receive the usual booklet on the day - like every year - with detailed instructions for the routes.
