All Pendle Pub Walkers registered by 12 midnight on 31st May have been entered in our free prize draw, and the 6 lucky winners are...

Kirsty Foxcroft - Walker 329, Chris Barron - Walker 155, Kathleen Scott - Walker 204, Derek Wale - Walker 166, Dianne Lawson - Walker 285, and Chris Cooke - Walker 192.

They will each receive one of the Dine-Out Vouchers kindly donated by some of our participating pubs. The winners we've managed to speak to so far were delighted.

"Wow, thanks, amazing!", said Kirsty, "I never win anything!"

Derek of Brierfield - who is doing the walk with his wife Sharon - was on a sun lounger in Marbella when he heard the news... "That’s fantastic," he said, "But this phone call must be costing you a fortune!" What a practical fella.

Another winner, Dianne, is doing the walk with her sister Claire. Claire is visiting from her home in Hornby and the sisters are really looking forward to a great day out together.

So congratulations to all our winners. But don’t worry if you missed the deadline for the draw, or weren’t successful - every Walker can still win another great prize. An engraved commemorative tankard (pictured) plus a £50 voucher to dine out are on offer to the person who collects the most sponsorship. This will be based on sponsor money received by the Hospice by 31st July 2012 - not on money pledged or promised.

So please make every effort to get as much sponsorship as you can; not just to win the tankard and voucher, but to support our Hospice. Extra forms can be downloaded at any time by logging into your account. New accounts can still be opened, but please note that late registrations are not guaranteed a PPW Tshirt at this stage. Supplies are limited, and time is short.
