After the success of PPW 2009 it was obvious that PPW 2010 would have to be much bigger and better. That's when PPW Grahame first coined the phrase "Pendle Pub Walk", and this website launched.

A local brewery offered to produce a beer for the event, but had to pull out because of work commitments. That's when an even more local brewery (Moorhouses) stepped in and saved the day! Moorhouses produced a beer for the event which was served in 9 out of 10 pubs on the day. There was a competition to name this beer - a tradition which has continued ever since - and that competition was won by Bernie Mearns with the fantastic name "Witch Way Now?" - He won a gallon of Moorhouses beer.

PPW 2010 was 10 miles long, but there was a mixture of sunshine and showers again. The number of walkers had grown to 150, and they set off from the picnic site at Barley, and returned back to finish at The Pendle Inn at Barley.

The event was a great success again, and a jolly good time was had by all. Some walkers had a life changing day!

This was the first time an engraved tankard for the walker who raised the most sponsorship was awarded - another tradition that has been followed ever since - and this was won by Karen (Bunny) Gardner, who raised a tremendous £400!

The final total raised was £6000, which was split between Prostate Cancer UK and Derian House the children's hospice.

After it was obvious that PPW 2010 was another roaring success, PPW organisers knew for PPW 2011 that the sky was the limit.
